Raw silk is unprocessed silk yet to remove protein adhesions (sericin and fibroin — used in hair softening products) in the form of wax glue on the fibers. The protein that is still rich in raw silk is beneficial to help treat serious skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis. It also beautifies and reduces wrinkles on the skin.
